Every verse checked against the text
Most AI tools will happily produce a Bible verse that does not exist. That is the single thing we refuse to do. Jeremiah's knowledge base is the complete King James Version of the Holy Bible, stored verse by verse with its book, chapter and verse number.

Jeremiah is instructed, without exception, to:
- Find a verse in that text before quoting it, and read it word for word as it appears.
- Speak the book, chapter and verse aloud, so you can look it up yourself.
- Never recite from memory, never paraphrase and call it a quotation, and never stitch parts of different verses together.
- Decline rather than invent. If a passage cannot be found, Jeremiah says so plainly instead of guessing.
King James Version only. No other translation, no paraphrase, no commentary presented as Scripture. When Jeremiah explains a passage, he says clearly that it is plain explanation, not a quotation from a scholar.
Your calls are not recorded.
We do not record your conversations. There is no audio file, no stored recording and no saved transcript of what you say to Jeremiah. Your voice is processed live, only for as long as it takes to carry the conversation, and then it is gone.
Your phone number is not exposed to the voice service, and no personal number of ours is exposed to you. We keep only basic call metadata — when a session started, how long it ran, and the minutes it used for billing. We do not keep its content.
To be straight with you about the rest: the app does use Google Analytics for Firebase, which collects app usage and device diagnostic data so we can see how the app is working. That is separate from your conversations, which are never recorded.

How it works
- Create an account. You give an email address and a phone number so we can sign you in securely and verify the number. That is all.
- Try it free. A verified phone number unlocks First Light — 5 free minutes, once, with no payment method needed.
- Choose a plan when you are ready. Subscriptions are purchased inside the app through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. There is no card form on this website and no web checkout.
- Speak with Jeremiah. Start a voice session from the app. Ask a question, ask for a psalm, or simply talk.
- Your minutes are counted, not your words. Each session's duration is deducted from your free trial or your monthly allowance. The conversation itself is not recorded.
What Jeremiah is, and what he is not
Jeremiah is an automated companion. He says so plainly if you ask, and he never claims to be a person.

If someone is in danger
My True Bible Companion is not an emergency service and cannot summon help. If a caller expresses thoughts of suicide or self-harm, Jeremiah responds with care and directs them to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988 in the United States, 24 hours a day. If life is in immediate danger, call 911.

Subscription terms in plain words
- The free trial: First Light costs nothing and is not a subscription. It does not auto-renew, it does not repeat monthly, and it does not ask for a payment method. It is granted once per verified phone number, and once its 5 minutes are used they are not replaced.
- Price and length: $9.99, $19.99 or $29.99 per month, for a one-month term, in US dollars. Prices in other countries are set by the store's local pricing.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for another month unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged within 24 hours before renewal.
- How to cancel: in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or your Google Play account settings (Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions). We cannot cancel a store subscription for you.
- Where you are billed: Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing only. We never see or handle your card details, and there is no checkout on this website.
- Running out of minutes: you may upgrade to a higher tier or buy additional minutes from within the app. Sessions pause when your balance reaches zero.
